In case of WW3, it's likely that Group 1 will fight against Group 2.
Ratio of troops Group 1/Group is 1.27 to 1. It's not that much different.
In the Europe front, NATO Europe (1.6mil) has 60% larger military size than that of Russia (1mil). The Europeans will do most of the fighting with the Russians. The US will focus more on the Asia front.
In Asia, the US and the South Koreans will do most of the fighting. The China group has 50% more troops than that of the US side. It's likely that the US side can't win because it has less troops and also, China has significant proximity advantages.

North Korea having more active military personnel than that of Russia is a surprise, given North Korea population is only 1/6 of Russia.

#1 North and #2 South Korea have the most number of total military personnel
Surprisingly, Vietnam has a bigger total military size than that of India and China although Vietnam population is less than 1/10th of these 2 countries. It shows that the Vietnam government is worried about being invaded by major powers.
Populous countries like Indonesia, the Philippines are not seen in the top 10. It shows that they are not that worried about security.

North Korea is the most militarised country in the world with number 1 spot in total military personnel per capita
South Korea is at number 2. It shows that the tensions in the Korea peninsular are still very high. When the two countries unify, enormous economic potentials will be unleashed because majority portion of the current military spending will be channelled into economic developments.
This list shows the security fears of these countries have. Hence, we can see the world most dangerous geopolitical hotspots that could turn into hot wars are: Korean peninsular, East China Sea, Taiwan, Israel and South China Sea.
